Lets be honest, you're gonna be sad sometimes. As your mom, I don't like to see you this way. Sometimes, I feel like the only sad one in a sea of happy people. This happens, and its normal! I'm sorry to say that someday, when you grow up and leave your mom, (much to my dis-approval by the way) it will happen to you to. It happened to me today. Here's the deal. When it happens, please be kind to yourself. Its OK. Things are never as bad as you feel when we are right in the middle of feeling down. There is nothing that can make you so sad that I wont be right there to pull you out of. Dad did this for me today. I was feeling so bad I even told him "I'm sorry, you didn't sign up for this" and he said "I signed up for you, and that's all I ever want" Someday you'll have someone who has signed up for YOU too and will help make all your sad days better. Red sad face and all. Just don't forget that Dad and I were the first to sign up!
