You havnt had a friend birthday party in 5 years. There, I admit it, and Im so sorry. If there was ever a year to have a fun birthday party, this would be it. You invited 10 friends, 5 of which made it, You originally had boys on your list and dad nixed them. We spent 3 hours at the local pool. You had pizza and lemondade for lunch and mint chocolate chip ice cream cake for desert. Seriously the easiest party ever and to see you beam with happiness, icing on the birthday cake!
p.s. It wasnt until the morning of the party that people rsvp'd. I was so nervous and fully prepared to have the best party in history if it was just you, dad , me and moses. Yet, I was heartbroken at the thought of your sadness if no body came. I wanted so bad for you to have your friends there but it was out of my control. Moral of the story, it always works out. Happiness can be found in any situation if we activly look for it.
