Great Grandma Bombard turned 87 years old today. She has always played a big roll in my life as someone who always loves me, quick to lend an listening ear and the first to offer help when someone needs it. We used to say prayers together at night and she would always pray for me. As a teenager, when we came to visit, I remember sitting on her bed at night and laying out all my problems for her. she always had something positive to make out of my problems and made me feel hopefull and happy. I am very thankful for the time we have spent with her these last 3 years. Im sure it hasnt been easy on her to open her home and live with the 4 of us. But we have all learned how to support and help each other and we have grown more than I deserve. Its been a huge blessing. That you have gotten to know her and love her as I do is precious to me. For breakfast, we made her hootenanny pancakes and served them with warm syrup and fruit. She loved it. I(just like I did as a kid when she made them for me!)

1cup milk
dash of vanilla
