As I sit here tonight looking are your perfect little smile in this photo, I admit, I am feeling a bit bad. You have some birthday money, almost 50.00. You have been doing quarter jobs as well which has added to the pot. And the neighbor across the street paid you 3.00 last week to collect their mail while they were out of town. (which by the way, you were SO responsible and did a great job collecting it) Today I took you to wallgreens so you could purchase a slip n slide. It was 19.99. I think this is something I should have bought for you and let you keep your money. On the other hand, it does teach you the value of money and taking care of what you spend it on. Im proud of you and the way you are learning and growing. The next slip n slide is on me though, okay?
