There are many things on my mind today. See that big orange Eye? I just want to poke her in it! The first being the mandatory overtime I am required to work due to Hurricane Irene. (and Dad is working 12's all weekend) Just this week there has been a 6.0 earthquake in VA, a 5.2 quake in Aruba and now cat 3 hurricane Irene is tearing her way up the eastern seaboard as we speak. 1029 flights this weekend have been cancelled. NYC is shut down and Boston will be tomorrow. My favorite quote of the day "Are you sure you're not flying?" yep. pretty sure. Of course, JB is my second job, the first being your mom. There are also lots of mom things on my mind like, Moses starts kindergarten on Monday and I'm already crying. Bellas last day of the week finished off much better than the first at school. We have friends people! And my happy little girl is back in the game. I wondered my worth as I pulled your dirty underwear off your shorts and jeans as I did the laundry today and wondered how many socks would disappear in this load. Ive downed 8 tums since I woke up this morning. I let you eat 2 peices of pizza and a soda for a snack. Im thinking that snack will be your dinner tonight. Great Grandma B was super mean to you both this afternoon. Im sorry I was chained to my headset. I probably shouldnt write that, but listen, even the greatest lose it once it a while, you would be wise to remember that. Lastly, I can feel my brain melting behind my eyeballs just thinking about another graveyard shift tonight. I think Ill just hang a vacancy sign on my ear and call it good. (like, for a week)
