Cake Walk

Bells! You have grown up with me saying "the only thing I ever won was a cake walk in 3rd grade" And its true. I never win anything (unless you count winning the kid lottery, we totally win that!) Tonight was your school carnival and what do you know, there was a cake walk. We BOTH won! I find that so amusing and so comforting :) Cake walks seem to have changed a bit since I was 8. Instead of dozens of homemade cakes, there were store bought goods; all sorts. You chose bagles, and I chose blueberry pastries. Like mother like daughter. What a fun evening! (regardless of the look on your brothers face)
