Photobucket

nothing but time...

I am laying in the hospital bed tonight with Buddy on the ever so uncomfortable couch next to me. He brought the camera cord from home so we could upload some photos. He also brought me a hamburger because my iron was low. It tasted so good! Dad did SO good taking photos yesterday before you were born. He really focused in on the details. This photo of me on the right is just minutes before you were born. You had the cord wrapped around your neck twice, and were in a little bit of distress. I was so worried, I forgot to breath. They gave me oxygen, and it wasnt until the nurse said "you need to breath for your baby" that I snapped back into reality and started breathing again. I went from a 4 to a 10 in under an hour, pushed two times and you were here! The fastest labor, similar to Moses. Now, you are sleeping next to me, all night long, you dont make a peep. I hate it when they take you to the nursery, they keep you there until I ask for you. I just want you next to me all the time so I make Dad go get you and bring you back to our room. Tommorow we will be going home and the blissfull days of the hospital stays will be gone. Im happy for Dad. Dads are such good sports to pretend to be happily staying at the hospital, when we all know the couches are SO uncomfortable and they are pretty much the forgotton hero's. The hospital doesnt even give them food! He takes care of my every need and spoils me, while I am sure being dead tired and hungry. Life slowly picks back up tommorow and we are so excited to take you home and start being a family of 5!
